The rum was distilled in 2006 and aged for a full 12 years in the tropical climate of Jamaica. Tropical aging means that the rum develops faster and more intensely than aging in Europe. The result is a deep, complex and aromatic rum with distinctive character and plenty of intensity.

This rum is labeled Pure Single Rum, meaning it is produced at the same distillery and distilled in traditional pot stills – a method that produces a more powerful and aromatic style of rum that Jamaica is world renowned for.
