Grapes from the Sellicks Beach area of Mclaren Vale are always among the the first to ripen in the Mclaren Vale. They were picked in a very state and fermentated in open vats, with extended maceration prior to a gentle squeeze in a hand operated basket press. This was followed by maturation in a mixture of new and old french and american oak. The wine is a blend of grapes from several different growers in Mclaren Vale.

A harmonious and fruit-driven wine from Alentejo
Herdade dos Grous 2022 is an elegant wine from the sunny Alentejo in Portugal, made from a carefully selected grape blend consisting of Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and Syrah.

Vinification and storage:
After vinification, the wine is aged for 9 months in French oak barrels, which adds depth and complexity without overpowering the wine's fruity character.

This wine offers a charming bouquet of ripe red berries, dark fruits and subtle spices. On the palate, a perfect balance is experienced between the freshness of the fruit, integrated oak notes and silky, round tannins. The aftertaste is long and pleasant.

Painted Rock is a family estate singularly committed to the production of ultra premium, terroir-driven Okanagan wines. Our estate vineyard has a single 3.01 acre of Cabernet Franc planted with clones 214 & 327. We strictly cropped to 3 tons per acre in this vintage and hand harvested in November 8 th 2020. This wine was aged for 18 months in French oak, of which 30% was new.

Yalumba The Signature Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz

The 47th year
Each vintage of The Signature is a tribute to an individual who has played an important role in the development of Yalumba culture and traditions. The 2016 vintage is dedicated to Louisa Rose, who was named Australian Winemaker of the Year in 2008 by Gourmet Traveler WINE. Louisa is known for her work with white wines, especially Riesling and Viognier, from the prized vineyards of the Eden Valley. She is a passionate ambassador for these grape varieties and enjoys great recognition in the wine world.

Growth conditions
A mild winter was followed by a warm and dry spring season, making for a quiet start to the growing season. This weather continued until the end of January, when 25mm of rain fell, giving the vines the nourishment they needed to complete the ripening of the grapes. The hot days of summer and autumn were balanced by cool nights, resulting in excellent concentration and a long flavor profile.

Tasting notes
The wine has an intense, dense, deep red color. The fragrance offers notes of red currant, perfumed cedar and complex, spicy dried herbs. This classic Cabernet Shiraz blend impresses with precise aromas and a rich middle palette of exotic flowers, cranberry nuances and dark chocolate. A full-bodied wine with a long and elegant tannin profile that frames the wine's generous and refined character.

The Familie Zuccardi single vineyard Finca Los Membrillos is located in the district of Altamira, Uco Valley. The wine is made from selection of grapes from the best calcerous soils with abundant rocks of variable sizes. These special soils help to shape the personality of this Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard takes its name from the quince trees which surround it, somthing typical found in the oldest vineyards in Mendoza, Argentina.
