Julia is the only daughter of José Zuccardi. Santa Julia, created in his honor, represents their commitment to achieve the highest level of quality through sustainable practices that contribute to taking care of the environment and being useful to the society we live in. I 1950 Alberto Zuccardi begins experimenting with new irrigation systems in Mendoza and in 1963 he implants a vineyard in the Maipú region to show the area's producers the functionality of an irrigation system created by him. It was decided in 1982 to focus on the production of high quality wines. JULIA is born. The first export of the Santa Julia brand took place in 1990. This El Burro from Santa Julia is a "Natural wine". It is produced from 100% organically grown Malbec grapes Maipú in Mendoza, Argentina. The grapes are hand-picked, and the wine has been exclusively stored in steel tanks. It is a beautiful red wine with a nice deep red color with a violet tinge, delicate and fresh fruit aroma with notes of plums and cherries, full and concentrated fruit taste and a long and pleasant aftertaste with a touch of plum jam.
This harmonious and well-structured red wine is particularly suitable for meat, pasta and rice dishes as well as cheeses.
