Chusclan Les Ribieres Cotes du Rhone 2017
The winery Laudun Chuslan has ancestry dating back to the beginning of the first millennium. The Camp Caesar vineyard, located near the ancient city of Laudun, originated when Caesar's legions had set up camp to guard the Rhône area. Thus, the starting shot sounded for a long era of viticulture at this historic site. Since then, the tradition of viticulture has been carried on at castles Le Clos Taman by the monk words Benedictines.
In 1925, Vignerons Laudun was founded and Vignerons de Chusclan was established in 1935, these two associations today form an association, and Laudun and Chuslan Vignerons Vinhuset became a reality. It consists of 200 wine growers who share their passion for the craft, and experience is shared across generations.
The winery has more than 3000 hectares of land which is located on the right bank of the Rhône river, and here is an unusually large diversity of different terroirs. The area is interspersed with the many fine outlets from the river and the slopes are idyllic in the beautiful landscape. Here the geography is optimal for viticulture in the mild Mediterranean climate and wines are produced with an unsurpassed delicious freshness.
