Stift Göttweig's 'Messwein Rosé' is a fruity, floral, delicious and dry wine made from Pinot Noir and the national grape Zweigelt. According to the agreement with the monastery, the wine must be made under as natural conditions as possible, and it must also be approved by the bishop before it can be launched.
Aroma and taste
In the glass, the wine is completely light rose, fan and transparent. In the nose, there is everything you would expect from a delicious rosé with freshly picked raspberries, wild strawberries, citrus fruits and stone. The fruit experience continues on the tongue, where it mixes with discreet spices and is complimented by an energetic fruit acidity. The aftertaste is medium-long, juicy and wonderfully thirst-quenching.
