To celebrate Christmas 1998, Teo decides to make a Christmas beer in accordance with beer-making tradition. Once again inspired by the Belgian tradition, he comes up with Nöel: a dark, sweet, full-bodied beer that perfectly matches the spirit of Christmas beer toasts. Over time, however, he realizes that the name of this beer has become a problem when making other themed versions - available all year round - such as Nöel Chocolat, Nöel Cafè. This is confusing for customers and tends to limit sales at Christmas.
With a twist, Teo decides to change the name to reverse the fate of this beer. The operative word here is: reverse. Reversing the name Nöel, here comes Leön, which is accompanied every Christmas by a special version bearing the original name.
