Green Chartreuse 55% is one of the world’s most iconic and legendary liqueurs—created according to a secret manuscript that was handed down to the Carthusian monks as far back as 1605. To this day, the recipe is known to only a few monks, and each bottle represents more than 400 years of tradition, patience, and craftsmanship.

This French herbal liqueur is made from no fewer than 130 different herbs and plants, which give it its natural, intense green color and a unique aromatic complexity. The production process is both demanding and time-consuming—and includes slow aging in oak barrels, which contributes to depth, balance, and aging potential.
