Fanø Bryghus Genius of the Crowd – Barrel Aged Blend

Fanø Bryghus Genius of the Crowd is a powerful and complex barrel aged beer, created as a unique collaboration between some of Denmark’s most innovative breweries. This special release brings together five different collaborative brews in one ambitious blend, developed together with Kasper Brew, Åben, Gamma and Flying Couch.

The result is a deep and intense beer experience where several different barrel-aged components merge into one harmonious whole. Each part of the blend contributes its own character, creating a beer with layers upon layers of flavor and impressive complexity.

During barrel aging, the beer has developed elegant notes of oak, vanilla and spirits from the selected casks. At the same time, the dark malt base adds richness and depth with nuances of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and dried fruit. This makes Genius of the Crowd a beer that is both powerful and nuanced.

This release is a celebration of collaboration, innovation and the passion for hand-brewed beer. Fanø Bryghus shows how the ideas and techniques of different brewers can be united in one spectacular cask-aged beer.
