Lervig Rackhouse Coconut Coffee Stout – Bourbon & Rum Barrel Aged Imperial Stout

Lervig Coconut Coffee Stout from the coveted Rackhouse series is a powerful and luxurious imperial stout where tropical and dark flavors meet in perfect balance. Roasted coconut, fresh coffee and deep barrel notes from bourbon and rum barrels come together in an intense beer experience created for those who love big, complex flavors.

The beer is aged for a full 14 months in carefully selected bourbon and rum barrels. During maturation, the stout’s deep malt profile develops into a complex symphony of roasted, sweet and spicy notes. The combination of barrel types provides both warm vanilla notes from the bourbon and spicy depth from the rum.

The result is a full-bodied imperial stout with a silky smooth texture and impressive aromatic depth. Coconut and espresso give the beer a luxurious dessert character, while the barrel aging adds nuances of caramel, oak and warm spices.
