If this Smugler series vol. 3 "The Exciseman" We round up a popular series of characterful expressions for our Arran Single Malt. The final casks we have chosen create a powerful blend of whiskey matured in the finest Madeira casks with whiskey matured in small quarter casks. The use of these casks serves as an acknowledgment of Arran's importance, in years gone by, in the trade of various black market spirits and the small casks which would have been the easiest to transport. The resulting liquid is complex, with a wonderful whiskey to end a series that has so perfectly celebrated the independent characters of us Arran over the centuries.
