In 1968, George S Grant, decide d to bottle a cask of Glenfarclas at natural strength as a christmas gift for family and friends. This strength of that single cask was 105° British proof, the equivalent of 60% alcohol by volume, and Glenfarclas 105 was born.
The special release of 105 consist of casks that have aged beautifully whilst maintaining their high strengt, giving us this very limited edition of 16-year-old Glenfarclas at 60% alcohol by volume. This outstandingfull-bodied expression with rich flavours of sherry, butterscotch and warming spice perfectly captures the time-honoured Glenfarclas style.
