Distilled on November 20, 1972 and gently matured for over four decades in Warehouse 6, this whiskey is a true gem. This traditional dunage warehouse, with its cool soil and antique wooden rails, forms the perfect setting for the three specially selected casks – no. 23404, 23405 and 23406. Here time has worked its magic, while the angels have taken their share, and only the best has remained.
With a bottling strength of 42.1% and just 380 bottles produced, Tomatin 1972 is an extremely rare release that captures the essence of the heart of the distillery.
