Arran 15 Year Old Argonne Rare Batch is an exclusive and rare single malt from the Isle of Arran. This limited edition is bottled at 53.5% and fully matured in French Argonne oak casks. Only 3060 bottles have been released worldwide. This makes it a coveted edition among collectors and enthusiasts.

The whisky has been aged for 15 years and is matured exclusively in Argonne oak. These casks previously held still wines from a traditional winemaker near the village of Ay in northeastern France. Argonne oak is known for its dense structure and fine tannins. It gives a deep, spicy and elegant barrel influence.

The result is an Arran Single Malt with intensity, structure and complexity. The combination of the island’s fruity house style and the French oak creates a whisky with both warm spice and refined balance.

Tasting notes

Nose: Ripe apples, pear and honey. Hints of toasted oak, vanilla and slightly spicy vinous character.

Flavor: Full-bodied and structured. Notes of caramel, dried fruit and spices. Clear influence of the French oak with tannin and warmth.

Finish: Long and complex. Spicy oak, dark fruit and an elegant dry finish.
