Billecart-Salmon – 200+ years of Champagne craftsmanship and family passion
Maison Billecart-Salmon, founded in 1818 in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, has since the beginning been guided by one philosophy: to create Champagnes with finesse, balance, and purity. The house is still family-owned and today run by the 7th generation – a clear testament to the love for craftsmanship and the land. With its own vineyards spanning 100 hectares and access to grapes from an additional 300 hectares across 40 of Champagne’s most prestigious crus, quality is always the top priority. The majority of the grapes come from the area around Épernay – the heart of Champagne – where Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay unite in the ideal climate and terroir.
