Foursquare Patrimonio Single Blended Rum 58% is a powerful and uncompromising Barbados rum, created in an exclusive collaboration between Luca Gargano and Richard Seale. This limited edition from Foursquare Rum Distillery combines tradition, transparency and technical perfection in a rum that speaks directly to the serious rum enthusiast.

Distilled in 2004 and bottled in February 2019, Patrimonio is aged for a total of 14 years and bottled at 58%. Production is limited to just 6000 bottles, making this edition particularly attractive to collectors and connoisseurs of high-proof rum from Barbados.

Patrimonio is a Single Blended Rum, meaning it is composed of both copper pot still distillate and traditional column distillate from the same distillery. Before barrel filling, the two distillates are blended and the rum undergoes either single or double maturation.

The blend consists of rum matured in ex-bourbon casks, as well as rum that has undergone double maturation in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Everything is 100% fully matured in the tropics at the Foursquare Rum Distillery in St. Philip, Barbados – an aging method that intensifies complexity, structure and depth.

Tasting Notes

Color: Deep golden amber with warm copper tones.

Aroma: Rich notes of vanilla, dried fruit and dark caramel, combined with spicy oak and a hint of roasted nuts.

Taste: Rich and concentrated with layers of brown sugar, dark chocolate, orange peel and warm spices. The influence of the sherry cask adds depth and fruity complexity.

Finish: Long and powerful with an elegant balance of sweetness, cask and spicy dryness.
