Maison Edmond Briottet – Six generations of French liqueur tradition

The story of Maison Edmond Briottet begins in 1836 in Dijon, where the company was originally founded as a wine merchant under the name James Demontry. In 1841, the first Crème de Cassis was created in Dijon and the fascination with fruit liqueurs really took off.

At the beginning of the 20th century, Edmond Briottet joined the family business and gave the house its name and direction. Since the 1940s, the family has focused exclusively on the production of liqueurs, and today the craftsmanship is continued by the sixth generation. Maison Edmond Briottet is internationally recognized for uncompromising quality, carefully selected ingredients and respect for tradition – and their Crème de Châtaigne is a shining example of this heritage.
