The story behind Gould Campbell

Gould Campbell was founded in Porto in 1797 by Garret Gould. Since then, the house has built a strong reputation for elegant and characterful Vintage Ports. Unlike many other Port houses, Gould Campbell does not own its own vineyards. Instead, they select grapes from some of the best areas of the Douro, including Pinhão and the Rio Torto Valley.

This freedom allows them to select the best grapes in each vintage. The result is Vintage Ports with great character and personality. Gould Campbell may be a smaller producer, but their wines often surprise in blind tastings and have earned great respect among Port lovers.
