The history of Maison Jean Pernet

Maison Jean Pernet was founded in 1959 by Jean and Huguette Pernet, but the family’s roots in Champagne go back to the 1600s. Through generations, craftsmanship and expertise have been passed down and the house has evolved from an annual production of 15,000 bottles to around 120,000 bottles today.

The winery has 17 hectares of vineyards in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Vertus, Chouilly and areas around Épernay, Chavot and Leuvrigny. The combination of tradition, family ownership and premium terroir ensures champagnes with authenticity, character and impressive ageability.
