This release is matured in a refill hogshead and then finished in a 1st fill American Oak Palo Cortade Quarter Cask – an aging method that gives the whisky depth, warmth and a unique aromatic character.
Distilled on September 14, 2008 and bottled on July 16, 2025, at a natural strength of 56.7%, this bottling is a true cask strength experience for collectors and enthusiasts.

Only 155 bottles exist worldwide – an exclusive expression of craftsmanship and dedication.

Tasting notes

Nose: Scents of honey-glazed nuts, ripe peaches and freshly baked vanilla cream. A hint of orange peel and dried flowers unfolds over time in the glass.

Flavor: Rich and complex – sweet notes of toffee, fruit compote and almond cake are elegantly balanced by light spicy notes from the Palo Cortade cask. A flavor that grows in intensity with every sip.

Finish: Long, round and harmonious. A touch of dark chocolate and orange marmalade round off the experience with a pleasant warmth.
