Woodward Canyon Artist Series #27 Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 is one of the most recognized Cabernet Sauvignon blends from Washington State. Since 1992, the Artist Series has had one clear purpose: to showcase some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon the state has to offer. The result is a wine with depth, structure and an elegance that has made the series legendary among connoisseurs.

This vintage is composed of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 7% Petite Verdot and 3% Syrah. The grapes come from some of Washington State’s most prestigious and oldest vineyards: Champoux Vineyard, Woodward Canyon Estate Vineyard, Weinbau Vineyard and Sagemoor Vineyard – vineyards with an average vine age of around 30 years. This gives concentration, complexity and a distinct terroir character.

The wine is aged for 22 months in French oak barrels, adding structure, spice and finesse without overpowering the fruit. The 2018 vintage is both robust and refined – a wine with great ageing potential and impressive balance already.

The Artist Series is not just wine – it’s also art. Each vintage features a selected artwork from a Pacific Northwest artist. For #27, the featured artist is Jodie Stejer from Sandpoint, making this bottle a collector’s item both in the cellar and on the label.
