23 Years old Guadeloupe Rum 55,5% Batch 1

This rum is distilled at Bellevue distillery. Bellevue distillert is on the heart of the largest sugarcane plantation of Marie-Galante in Guadeloupe. The Bellevue au Moule estate and its distillery was established in the end of the 19th centurym and the iconic windmill was built in 1821 Bellevue distillery is also the first Caribbean distillery to have committed to protecting the environment, with a 100% non-polluting production process. This bottling contains 2 casks of pure Column/Coffey still rum, based on molasses. It has primarily aged in bourbon cask in the tropics, with a short stop in the continental climate before bottling. It is 23 years old, and there is no color or sugar added.

17 year Travelers rum 65.4% RomdeLuxe

This rum is from the famous Travelers Distillery. They make some very nice rum which is molasses based and column distilled. Travelers has a local selection of unaged and aged rums ranging from one to three and five years old. After that, the rum will be stored in Europe for the rest of its storage. When we tasted this rum, there was no doubt it was a wild one.

15 year Been Leigh Rum 67% RomdeLuxe

Been Leigh Distillery in Australia are one of the largest and most famous distilleries on the continent. They make some very interesting rums, based on molasse. This rum was aged 10 years at the distillery, after that the rum was brought back to Europe for another 5 years of ageing.

17 years old Jamaica Rum 54,4%

This rum comes from a secret distillery of Jamica. This distillery makes some very tasteful and smooth Jamaican rums. And it´s definity Worth a walk in a Park, to get the possibility to taste one of these rums. It is molasse based, and after a long fermentation it is distilled on Forsyth Pot Still. After distillation is has aged in Ex-Bourbon cask.

This rum comes from Barbados, where it has been distilled at Foursquare Distillery. It was distilled under the supervision of Richard Seale and his crew. We have release several bottlings from Foursquare, and we are constantly surprised by the high quality of these bottlings. After distillation the rum has age in Ex-Bourbon cask.

This rum comes from Barbados, where it has been distilled at Foursquare Distillery. It was distilled under supervison of Richard Seale and his crew. They make some really delightful rums, which is very smooth and drinkable. Especially after a good meal. After destillation the rum has aged in ex-malt whisky cask.

This rum comes from Guyana, where it has been distilled at Diamond Distillery. It was distilled at the old wooden Pot Still cald Versailles. After the distillation is has been age in Ex-bourbon cask. There has been added a small amount of color under aging process.

The story behind the rum
Distillation: Distilled in 1991 on the Port Mourant pot still, which has been producing rum since 1732 and is known for adding unique flavor notes through its iconic wooden design.
Origin: Distilled at the Uitvlugt distillery, which closed in 1999. After the closure, the historic pot still was moved to the Diamond distillery, where it is still active.
Aging: This rum has spent 32 years in a former malt whiskey cask, giving it an extra dimension of complexity and a rich aromatic profile.
Tasting notes
Aroma: Notes of dried fruit, caramel, oak and spices, with subtle hints of smoke and vanilla.
Taste: A deep and complex body with layers of tropical fruits, dark chocolate and a spicy warmth, which is complemented by the malt character
Aftertaste: Long and rich with notes of wood, cocoa and spicy sweetness.

30 years Trinidad Distillers Limited Rum 62.3% RomdeLuxe

This rum has been distilled at Trinidad Distillers Limited. It is distilled in a multi-column continuous distillation. Trinidad Distillers Limited was founded back in 1949. They use sugarcane molasses are the source for their fermentations. Besides that, the cultivate their own yeast strain, which ads the distinctive flavor notes to the rum. The year 1991 is known as one of the best vintages of Trinidads rums.

16 years old Panama Rum 59,6%

This rum comes from Panama, where it has been matured under the warm tropical sun, for 12 years of aging. In 2018 it was shipped to Denmark, where it was aged 4 more years in the cold Danish climate. It has been aged in the same Ex-Bourbon cask all the way. It´s a molasse based and column distilled rum. The result is a really warm and delicious rum.

This rum comes from Barbados, where the iconic distillery Foursquare has its residence. At Foursquare they make natual rums based on the old traditions of Barbados. In this particular case, it is a rum that is more than 19 years old, which is quite old considering the age of the Foursquare distillery. We are very keen on delivering natural rums, with high quality, lots of flavour and no added sugar or coloring.

16 year Long Pond Rum 68.4% RomdeLuxe

This rum comes from Jamaica. It´s from Long Pond Distillery. The rums from this distillery are not all heavy spirit overloaded with esters, the distillery can also produce ´lighter rum´, which have the most amazing aromatic richness, due to a very specific type of fermentation and distillation.

This rums comes from Belize, where the very famous distillery, Travellers, are based. They make some incredible rums. This one has been continentally aged in small 130 l. PX sherry cask. This has smoothened the rum and added a lot of sweet notes to the rum. Here you have notes of dried tropical fruits, orange peel and chocolate.

13 year old Trinidad rum 64%

Here comes another bottling from the now closed distillery TenCane which was located in Trinidad. At TenCane they made some really exciting tasting rums, based on fresh sugar cane juice. As the distillery is closed, it can be difficult to get all the details about the rum, which is also the case with this cask.

15 Years old The Dominican Republic Rum 65%

Back in 2016 we released the first bottling under the brand Romduluxe. It was a rum from the Dominican Republic. Released at a cask strength of 65%. It was very popular among our customers, and ever since then we have wanted to find something even better from this area. Now we have found another rum from here. It is a 15-year-old Dominican rum. This rum is bold abd soft in the mouth. Therefore, we have blended it with another very specail rum. A 1-yeat-old high ester rum called Aroma Grande. This rum came to our attention some months ago, and it is an absolute wonderful and tasteful rum. It has an Ester count of 474 gr-/HLAA. We have made the blend of 80% 15 year rum and 20% Aroma Grande 1 year rum.

22 year Panama Rum 65.4% RomdeLuxe

This rums comes from a secret distillery in Panama. This rum is a blend of both Pot Still and Column Stil. It has a lot of character retrieved from 20 years of aging in Panama. After the long aging it was sent to Denmark where we haven given it a finish in a used Islay whisky cask for 2½ year. This finish has added some spiceness and smokiness to the rum.

8 years La Reunion Rum 55,6%

Let us present our first bottling of Aroma Grand Rum from La Reunion. At this distillery they make almost every type of rum, including Grand Aroma which is tjeor best bid of a high ester rum. They make this rum by letting the molasses ferment for almost 15 days. The extreme long fermentation makes very tasteful and aromatic rums. The distillery has decided that the ester count must be 500 g/hl AA as a minimum. The rum is column distilled in a French Savalle Still made of copper. After the distillation it has been matured in American white oak cask former used for red wine. This cask has added yet another dimension to this rum.

21 years Nicaragua Rum 61%

This rum was distilled on April 1, 2000. And no, it is no April Fool's joke that it is so old. It is column distilled. It is fully 21 years old. but still has the fruity freshness as it has been aged continentally for all the years. It is bottled at full cask strength of 61% ABV and there are expected to be 187 bottles from this cask. The rum is distilled at the Licorera de Nicaragua distillery.
