The wine producer Decades 5 uses exclusively the Petit Verdot grape. This grape is one of the blue grapes, although much overlooked in Bordeaux, among others. This wine from Decades 5 comes from the Stagecoach vineyard, which is one of the warmer blocks in the vineyard, giving this grape a long growing season where this variety can really shine through.

Va Piano Syrah Les Collines is a beautiful and perfect red wine from Walla Walla, Washington. It is made from 100% Syrah from the field Les Collines – which Va Piano itself calls their favorite of the fields that are not their own. Les Collines is one of the highest fields in Walla Walla, and also one of the leaders in "minimal input farming".

Va Piano Vineyards is located in Walla Walla in Washington, USA. The company was founded by Justin Wylie, who as a native Walla Walla'rian had the thriving vineyards literally in the backyard. Like so many others, he was drawn to the magic of the grapes and began making wine in his garage. It wasn't long before the passion could be made a living, and in 2003 Va Piano was founded.

Va Piano works with a number of sovereign fields in Walla Walla, and especially worth bnævne is the eponbyme Va Piano mark, which is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Cab Franc & Petit Verdot. 70% of the grapes use Va Piano itself, while the rest is sold to other houses, such as L'Ecole #41.

A princely Syrah from the field Stoney Vine in Walla Walla, Washington! Here you get a real slap for the penny, with tons of juicy fruit and meatiness. Stoney Vine is a relatively young field, planted in 2007, located on the old river bed shaped by the Walla Walla River. Rhône varieties grow here primarily and the field has quickly become a favorite among the lucky few winemakers who have access to the fruit from there.

After a hot, tumultuous 2015 that produced some great wine, 2016 was a return to a more normal vintage. The growing season was a bit cooler and allowed us to hang the grapes a little longer to achieve perfectly ripeness without sacrificing any character. Everything started pretty perfectly in the spring and continued through, giving us our largest crop to date. Despite the increased yields, the long season allowed us to take in grapes that produced wine with incredible depth and grace. Fall rains held out until the very end, as we were taking in the last of our grapes, so we were mostly unaffected by any weather event this year. The result isimmediate drink-ability in all of our wines, but the wine in the bottle will continue to mature for as long as your patience can hold out.

Tomatin Decades II

Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

In 2011 Tomatin Decades was released to celebrate the vareer of then Master Distiller, Douglas Campbell. A perfect marriage of maturity and youth, Decades brougth together casks from five different decades and exemplified the range and depth of the thousands of casks that lie maturing in the vast warehouses of Tomatin.

Douglas´ successor, Graham Eunson joined Tomation in 2011 as Distillery Manager bringing with him a forward thinking attitude and progressive approach as Master Distiller, Graham has revived decades.

Inspired by Douglas´ original concept, Graham has handpicked 21 casks spanning the last five decades to create Decades II. Utilising his vast experrience in cask management, he has carefully married together five different cask styles. Each golden drop is carefully drawn from the chosen cask, then expertly interwined to produce a unique single malt of exceptional flavour.

1970´s Refill Bourbon hoghsheads

Tomatin from the 1970´s is held in exceptionally high regard, prized for its deth and complexity. Matured in refil hoghshead, this malt has taken on very little oak influence which has allowed the air and liquid in the casks to interact and develop array of tropics fruit flavours.

1980´s Finished in First fill Oloroso Sherry Butts
Distilled: 02/12/1988
Tomatin from the 1980´s is sweet and fresh. This malt has been finished for over three years in 1st fill Oloroso Sherry Butt, resulting in a whisky reminiscent of aged Cognac. Tones of leather, polished oak and dark roast coffee along with flavours of stone fruit, dark chocolate and tannin add richness.

1990´s First fill Bourbon barrels. Distilled: 04/10/1995
The use of 1st fill Bourbon barrels has developed a malt with characteristics of golden syrup, freshly baked pasteries with subtle spices add a layer of warmth. Although well into its twenties, Tomatin from the 1990´s is bold which helps impact long length to overall the finish.

2000´s Recharged Verdejo Wine barrels

From 2000´s onwards Tomatin began to experiment with wider variaty of casks. The malt used from the 2000´s has been matured in Verdejo wine casks which have been re-charged to harness the full influence of the oak. This adds sweetness as well as some spicier notes.

2010´s Second fill French Oak Barrels
Distilled on 14/03/2013
Young Tomatin in second fill casks allows the distillery character to shine thougth. Fresh green fruits and malty characteristics are to fore with subtle spice and toffee from the ligth French oak influence. This is a vivacious malt which adds ligther tones but is kept in balance by the older casks.

Over the years, the production of quality cognac has really evolved. Cogcan Lhéraud's method for the production of cognac is very, very old and is reserved only for Guy Lhéraud. Cognac Lhéraud is also called "the water of life".

There is absolutely no caramel added to any of Lhéraud's cognac, as the beautiful colors in the cognac only come from the storage of the cognac in the oak casks.

Pure Cabernet Sauvignon that has been in stainless steel as well as barrel aging in French oak, which makes this wine from Jamieson a very balanced and complex wine. Jamieson Four Reins winemaker Linda Trotta joined us in 2017 after three decades of experience. In 2018, Linda was named the North Bay Business Journal's Napa Valley Winemaker.

Metaxa (Greek: Μεταξά) is a Greek distilled spirit invented by Spyros Metaxas in 1888. It is a blend of brandy, spices and wine where wine is not present in some of the more expensive versions of the product to allow for a drier taste. The founder of the distillery was Spyros Metaxas. He created the first brandy and was involved in the founding of the first distillery in 1888.

Chateau Pedesclaux was founded by Pierre Urbain Pedesclaux in 1810, when he bought some land belonging to Chateau Grand Puy. Pedesclaux had until then subsisted as a wine merchant in Bordeaux.

In 1891 the property was sold to Count Gastebois and Chateau Pedesclaux had several owners until 1950, when Lucien Jugla bought the possessions. It was under his ownership that the property and vineyards were restored.

In 1965, Chateau Pedesclaux was taken over by Juglas' 5 children, who radically modernized it between 2004 and 2007. In 2009, the Pedesclaux family sold to Jacky Lorenzetti, who already owned Château Lilian Ladouys in St. Petersburg. Estephe. Jacky Lorenzetti expanded the vineyards of Chateau Pedesclaux with the purchase of 12 hectares located on the Milon plateau.

The 48 hectare Chateau Pedesclaux today owns is planted with 48% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc. In the longer term, work is underway to increase the proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon. The average age of the vines is 35, but some of them are more than 65 years old.
