Albert Bichot Corton Grand Cru Clos des Maréchaudes 2021

Albert Bichot Corton Grand Cru Clos des Maréchaudes 2021 is an exclusive Grand Cru from Burgundy. The wine comes from the prestigious Corton hill in Côte de Beaune. It produces some of the most elegant and complex Pinot Noir wines in the region. This wine clearly shows why Corton is considered one of the greatest terroirs in Burgundy.

The Clos des Maréchaudes vineyard is located at the foot of Corton Hill. Here you will find a small and special parcel of just 0.5 hectares classified as Grand Cru. The limited size allows for a very selective production. At the same time, the location provides optimal conditions for Pinot Noir. The soil and microclimate create wines with structure, finesse and great aromatic depth.

Albert Bichot is committed to organic viticulture. Respect for nature and the vineyard is central to the work. The vinification is carefully adapted to highlight the character of the terroir. The goal is to create a wine that expresses Clos des Maréchaudes as purely and authentically as possible.

The 2021 vintage shows Burgundy from its elegant side. The wine has a beautiful balance between freshness, fruit and structure. It can be enjoyed young after oxygenation, but will develop greater complexity with ageing.
