This 10 year old single malt was distilled on November 3, 2014 and matured first in a refill hogshead before spending a full 3 years in a 1st fill American Oak Pedro Ximénez Sherry Hogshead – a cask choice that gives the whisky an extraordinary richness and complexity. Bottled on March 5, 2025 at natural cask strength of 52.9%, directly from cask no. 10868 and limited to just 196 bottles. A rare gem – a true small batch whisky that every collector and connoisseur should experience.

Tasting notes

Aroma: Fresh sea air and smoke rise from the glass first, followed by sweet notes of PX sherry, raisins, dark chocolate and light caramel. Hints of salt and seaweed add complexity and edge.

Flavor: Full-bodied and vibrant – the peat smoke is gentle but distinct, surrounded by layer upon layer of sweetness from the sherry cask. Think dates, brown sugar and vanilla, balanced by pepper, oak and a hint of citrus.

Finish: Long and warm with soft peat smoke, the sweetness of sherry and an elegant touch of dark chocolate and sea salt. A seductive finish that lingers for a long time.
