Hampden Estate 1753 – Pure Single Jamaican Rum

Want to experience true Jamaican rum as it was intended by nature – raw, intense and full of character? Hampden Estate 1753 is an uncompromising expression of classic Jamaican craftsmanship and a must for any rum lover seeking depth, funk and authenticity. This is a tropically aged pure single rum, distilled exclusively in pot still and bottled with no additions. Nothing is polished or customized – this is Hampden at its most honest.

Hampden Estate 1753 was created as the ideal entry point into the distillery’s legendary high ester universe. The long, wild fermentation, traditional distillation and full maturation under the hot Jamaican sun produce a rum of marked intensity and impressive complexity. At the same time, the balance is so beautiful that both curious novices and experienced enthusiasts can explore the glass.

There are no shortcuts here. No sugar, no color, no additives. Just pure Jamaican craftsmanship, natural spring water and methods that have been used for generations. The result is a rum with personality, edge and a distinct signature that can’t be mistaken for anything else.

Tasting notes

Color: Light amber – natural, unfiltered and without artificial color.

Aroma: Intense and aromatic with overripe tropical fruit. Mango and banana dominate, flanked by fresh citrus, nutmeg and a classic Hampden touch of engine room and fermented fruit.

Flavor: Full-bodied, vibrant and complex. Warm spices, a subtle hint of vanilla and clear notes of mango, pineapple and banana. The alcohol is nicely integrated and enhances the flavor experience without being harsh.
