Château Brane-Cantenac Margaux 1982
Experience the essence of Margaux with Château Brane-Cantenac 1982. This is one of Bordeaux’s most iconic wines and a 2nd Growth (2ème Grand Cru Classé) from 1855. The wine is a true masterpiece, crafted for collectors and wine enthusiasts seeking an extraordinary experience. It is perfect for special occasions and only becomes more elegant with age.

Tasting Notes:
The 1982 vintage reveals a generous and complex bouquet. Ripe blackberries and violets are complemented by subtle hints of truffle. On the palate, the tannins are silky and refined, in classic Margaux style. The wine balances fruit and structure to perfection. It is both powerful and graceful, with a long, lingering finish.

Serving Suggestions:
Château Brane-Cantenac 1982 pairs beautifully with poached veal sweetbreads, chocolate fondue, or creative dishes featuring Pommes de terre Macaire and carrot tops. It enhances the flavors of gourmet cuisine and creates memorable dining experiences.

About the Producer:
The estate’s history dates back to the 19th century. Baron de Brane, known as the “Napoleon of the vines,” purchased Château Gorce in 1833. Recognizing the estate’s unique terroir, he devoted himself to its development. In 1838, it was renamed Brane-Cantenac and became a 2nd Growth in 1855. In 1925, the Lurton family acquired the estate and have since preserved its characteristic style: delicate, complex, and aromatic, with classic Margaux elegance.

A Wine for Collectors and Connoisseurs:
The 1982 vintage is a rare opportunity to own a wine that combines Bordeaux’s history with world-class craftsmanship. Château Brane-Cantenac 1982 is an investment in flavor, prestige, and tradition—a wine that will be remembered and enjoyed for generations.
