The rum is created from a carefully selected blend of distillates from the 2003 and 2010 vintages. After distillation in the classic Créole Column, the rum is aged in ex-bourbon casks where it has developed its deep complexity and elegant structure over the years. Saint James is one of the oldest rum distilleries in the Caribbean and has been producing rum since 1765. This means that the rum is made from freshly pressed sugar cane juice – the classic style known as rhum agricole.
