The rum was distilled in 2015 in Queensland, Australia, and aged for eight years in ex-bourbon casks. In 2023, it was bottled in Italy by Velier at a powerful 60% strength. The high alcohol content makes for an intense and complex rum, with layers of fruit, spice and cask character unfolding.

Beenleigh Distillery is one of Australia’s oldest rum distilleries, founded in 1884 on the Albert River. The distillery is known for its unique combination of column still distillation and an additional copper pot still distillation.
