Elegance, structure and history all in one bottle.

The 1982 vintage is legendary in Bordeaux and is considered a reference point for great wine. The history of the house

Château Gloria stands out in the Médoc, where most châteaux can trace their history back hundreds of years. The story begins in 1939 when Henri Martin, the son of a cooper in Saint-Julien, began buying up small parcels from neighbors and friends with a clear vision: to create his own great wine.

After decades of patient work, in 1970 he gathered the vineyards under the name Château Gloria, which today encompasses around 50 hectares in the heart of the appellation. With passion, craftsmanship and uncompromising quality, Henri Martin built a reputation that has placed Gloria among the most respected properties in Saint-Julien – despite the absence of an official Cru Classé title.

Today, the château is run by his daughter Françoise and son-in-law Jean-Louis Triaud, along with the next generation, who carry on the family legacy with respect for tradition and a focus on classic Bordeaux style.
