Château Lafite Rothschild Pauillac 2015 Magnum – 1.5 liter iconic 1. Cru Bordeaux
Château Lafite Rothschild 2015 in magnum bottle is one of the most coveted wines from Bordeaux. This legendary 1. Cru Classé from Pauillac represents elegance, depth and exceptional ageing potential. The 2015 vintage is considered a great Bordeaux vintage, and in magnum format the wine evolves even more slowly and harmoniously over time.
Pauillac is located between Saint-Julien and Saint-Estèphe on the left bank of the Gironde. The area is home to three of the five famous 1. Cru chateaux in Bordeaux: Château Lafite Rothschild, Château Latour and Château Mouton Rothschild. The region is known for some of the world’s most prestigious Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines.
The soil in Pauillac consists primarily of gravel and stone. The lean soil forces the roots of the vines deep into the subsoil. This produces grapes with great concentration and complexity. The result is wines with deep structure, intense fruit and elegant balance.
Château Lafite Rothschild is famous for its refined style. The wines combine power and finesse with an almost silky texture. Cabernet Sauvignon typically dominates the blend, giving classic aromas of blackcurrant, cedar and graphite.
The 2015 vintage shows great ripeness and balance. The wine has a deep concentration and an elegant tannic structure. At the same time, it retains Lafite’s characteristic finesse and complexity. The 1.5 liter magnum format makes the bottle ideal for cellaring and special occasions.
This wine is a true collector’s wine. It can evolve for decades in the cellar and will gain even greater complexity over time. Château Lafite Rothschild 2015 Magnum is therefore an investment, a collector’s bottle and an unforgettable wine experience.

History of the house
Château Lafite Rothschild was first mentioned in historical documents in 1234. The name Lafite derives from the Gascon term “la hite”, which means a small hill. The property gained its reputation as a wine estate in the 17th century under the Ségur family.
In 1868, the castle was purchased by Baron James de Rothschild. Since then, the Rothschild family has been closely linked to Lafite and developed the property into one of the world’s most prestigious wine estates. Today, the château has around 112 hectares of vineyards in Pauillac with perfectly drained gravel soils.
Château Lafite Rothschild is known for its uncompromising quality and focus on terroir. Each vintage is crafted with great precision, which has secured the château a permanent place among the world’s most coveted wines.
