Collectors Series Rum No. 7 is a powerful and exclusive single cask rum from La Réunion. Bottled at a whopping 55.6%, this 8-year-old rum is for the serious rum enthusiast looking for intensity, structure and real character.

The rum originates from a “Secret Distillery” in La Réunion and is distilled on a column still with a molasses base. It has been aged continentally for 8 years in former red wine barrels. This gives an exciting combination of French cask character and tropical rum profile.

Only 304 bottles were bottled in November 2021, making this edition a collector’s item and an ideal bottle for those who want something unique on their shelf.

Tasting notes

Nose: Intense and fruity with dark berries, raisins and spicy oak. Hints of red wine, caramel and warm spices.

Taste: Full-bodied and powerful. Notes of dark sugar, dried fruit and light tannin from the red wine cask. Pepper, vanilla and roasted nuts add depth.

Finish: Long and warm. Spicy oak, dark fruit and a persistent, slightly dry finish.
