Domaine Louis Latour Corton Grancey Grand Cru 2016 – Majestic Grand Cru from the heart of Côte de Beaune

Domaine Louis Latour Corton Grancey Grand Cru 2016 is classic Burgundy in its most noble form. This is a Grand Cru from the legendary Corton hill, where Pinot Noir achieves power, depth and aristocratic elegance. It’s a wine with authority, ageing potential and historical resonance.

Corton Grancey is Louis Latour’s own signature cuvée from Corton. It is blended from selected parcels of the Grand Cru vineyard and shows the house’s interpretation of the area’s terroir. The 2016 vintage combines concentration with freshness and structure. The result is a wine with an upright spine and silky finesse.

The wine is traditionally aged in French oak barrels from Louis Latour’s own cooperage. This provides a precise integration of barrel and fruit. The taste is deep and complex, yet classically austere in expression. This is a wine that needs time – either in the decanter or in the cellar.

Serve it with beef, game, pigeon or dishes with truffles and mushrooms. It is impressive in its youth but will develop beautifully over the next 20 years.

About Domaine Louis Latour – Burgundy’s historic icon since 1797

Domaine Louis Latour is located in Aloxe-Corton and today has more than 48 hectares in Côte d’Or. The house owns 27 hectares of Grand Cru from Le Chambertin in the north to Chevalier-Montrachet in the south. Since its founding in 1797, Louis Latour has helped define Burgundy as one of the world’s most coveted wine regions.

For generations, the family has combined tradition and innovation. In 1979, they expanded with an estate in Ardèche, and later the historic Chablis house of Simonnet-Febvre came under their ownership. The common denominator is uncompromising quality and respect for terroir.

Corton Grancey Grand Cru 2016 is a shining example of Louis Latour’s legacy – classic, precise and made to last for decades.
