Elk Cove Vineyards Roosevelt Pinot Noir 2019 Magnum is an elegant and complex Pinot Noir from the famous Willamette Valley in Oregon. The wine comes from the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, an area known for Pinot Noir with deep fruit, silky texture and great finesse.

The Roosevelt parcel is one of Elk Cove Vineyards’ special parcels where the soil and climate provide optimal conditions for Pinot Noir. The cool nights and long growing season in the Willamette Valley ensure slow ripening of the grapes. The result is wines with a great balance of fruit, acidity and structure.

The 2019 vintage is both intense and elegant. The classic Oregon Pinot Noir style is evident with beautiful fruit, light spices and a soft texture. The 150cl magnum bottle also gives the wine more opportunity to develop slowly in the bottle, often adding even more complexity over time.

This is a wine that pairs perfectly with duck, lamb, mushrooms or grilled poultry dishes. It can also be enjoyed on its own in the glass, where its layers of fruit and spice really come into their own.
