Ferdinand’s Saar Dry Vermouth is a groundbreaking and elegant vermouth from Avadis Distillery – the house behind the acclaimed Ferdinand’s Saar Dry Gin. This is the first vermouth created from Riesling grapes, and the result is a refined and terroir-driven interpretation of the classic dry style.

The base is exquisite Riesling from the famous producer Zilliken in the Saar region. The project stems from the desire to create products that celebrate Saarland’s proud wine tradition – and this vermouth is a beautiful example of the interplay between wine and distillation. Combining the crisp acidity and aromatic profile of Riesling with carefully selected botanicals produces a dry vermouth with finesse and character.

In the glass it appears light golden with a clear and inviting color. The aroma offers fresh citrus notes, white flowers and fine herbs. The taste is dry, fresh and balanced with Riesling’s elegant acidity, light bitterness and complex herbal notes. The finish is clean, mineral and persistent with a subtle vinous character that makes it particularly suitable for classic cocktails.
