This single blended rum is distilled and aged exclusively at Foursquare Rum Distillery. The blend consists of rum made on the distillery’s traditional copper pot still and the modern twin column still. The combination provides an impressive balance of power, complexity and elegance that has made Foursquare one of the world’s most respected rum distilleries.

After distillation, the rum components are aged for a full 15 years in the tropical climate of Barbados. Aged in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and ex-moscatel casks, adding depth, fruitiness and refined sweet nuances. The result is a rum of great complexity and impressive concentration, demonstrating Foursquare’s ability to combine innovation and tradition.

Tasting notes

The aroma opens with notes of vanilla, toasted coconut, honey and ripe stone fruit. This is followed by layers of raisins, dried apricots, orange peel and sweet spices from the muscatel casks. The palate is rich and intense with nuances of caramel, dark sugar syrup, tropical fruit, roasted nuts and oak. The sweet vinous notes from the Moscatel casks blend elegantly with the classic bourbon barrel aromas. The finish is long, warm and complex with notes of spice, dried fruit, cocoa and cask.
