Habitation Velier Long Pond STC♥E 2019 is pure Jamaican power. An uncompromising Pure Single Rum, distilled at Long Pond in 2019 and bottled in 2022 at full cask strength. Here you get intensity, esters and technical precision of the highest order – created for the serious rum enthusiast.

The STC♥E mark identifies a distillate with an ester concentration at distillation of 550-700 gr/hlpa. This places the rum at the high end of Jamaica’s aromatic universe. The total congener amount measures 1,053.1 gr/hlpa, of which 497.6 gr/hlpa are esters. This results in an explosive and complex aroma profile.

The rum is fully aged in the tropics for 3 years in ex-bourbon casks. The tropical maturation has resulted in an angelica content of over 22%. This concentrates the flavor significantly and gives depth despite the relatively young age. Bottled at 60%, it is powerful, structured and without compromise.

Tasting notes

Aroma: Intense and estery with overripe pineapple, banana and fermented fruits. With lime zest, lacquer and a hint of olive.

Taste: Expressive and dry with tropical fruit, citrus oil and spicy oak. The high alcohol lifts the aromas and adds significant structure.

Finish: Long, warm and aromatic with fruit, salt and slightly bitter citrus.
