The rum originates from a more than 100-year-old distillery in northern Peru. It uses molasses from sugar cane grown in volcanic, mineral-rich soil, giving it natural richness and depth. Distillation takes place on column stills, creating a clean, elegant base with great structure.

Aging starts in ex-bourbon casks, adding vanilla, caramel and warm spices. Then the rum is finished in ex-Oloroso sherry casks. This gives notes of dried fruit, nuts and light vinous complexity. The result is a rounded and harmonious rum with South American character.

Aroma: Vanilla, brown sugar and roasted nuts. Hints of dark caramel, raisins and orange peel.
