Lagg Distillery Kilmory Edition is a characterful and modern single malt whisky from the exciting Lagg Distillery on the Isle of Arran. The whisky showcases the distillery’s signature style. It’s smoky, rich and inspired by the area’s long tradition of distilling. This is an intense coastal whisky with a distinctive peat smoke. At the same time, the smoke is balanced by fresh citrus notes and a slight sweetness.

The whisky is distilled and matured close to the village of Kilmory on the southern part of the Isle of Arran. The area is known for its open countryside, agriculture and proximity to the sea. The maritime air and mild climate influence the maturation process. The result is a whisky with elegance and depth.

Kilmory Edition is matured exclusively in bourbon casks. This accentuates the natural sweetness of the whisky and adds notes of vanilla and citrus. At the same time, a peat level of 55 PPM gives a distinctive smoke profile. The result is a powerful but well-balanced single malt.

The whisky is double distilled and bottled at 46%. This gives a nice structure and a rich mouthfeel. Smoke, fruit and the character of the cask come through in the flavor.
