Discover an exceptional single malt whisky from the iconic Loch Lomond Distillery, distilled under the smoky Croftengea name. This 9-year-old Highland whisky is a study in the balance of smoke, sweetness and complexity – a masterpiece bottled by the passionate hands of Woodrow’s of Edinburgh, one of Scotland’s most exciting independent bottlers.

The whisky is matured in refill hogshead and then finished in small oloroso and PX sherry bloodtubs – both American and European oak. The result is an intensity and richness that brings out Croftengea’s deep smoky character and layers upon layers of fruit, spice and dark sweetness.

Only 86 bottles were bottled at 58% natural cask strength – unfiltered and with no color added. A true single cask experience in its purest form.

Tasting notes – Loch Lomond Croftengea 9 years

Nose: Rich and aromatic with notes of peat smoke, dark chocolate, candied orange peel and warm spices. A subtle sweetness from the sherry cask dances in the background.
Flavor: Powerful and oily with smoky nuances, dried fruit, caramel, toffee and a hint of espresso and nuts. The high alcohol strength carries the flavor without overpowering the complexity.
Finish: Long, warm and elegant – with lingering notes of smoke, sherry and dark berries. A whisky with both strength and finesse.
