Louis Roederer Vintage 2011 Brut Champagne
– A Classic Vintage with Great Depth and Character

Discover the exceptional Louis Roederer Vintage 2011 Brut Champagne – a true gem from the Champagne region that combines the best of both tradition and terroir. This vintage is a must for connoisseurs and bon vivants seeking a structured, complex, and gastronomically versatile world-class champagne.
Champagne Louis Roederer Vintage 2011 is crafted from 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay – carefully selected grapes from the most prestigious vineyards, especially from the legendary Grand Cru village of Verzy. 27% of the wine has undergone malolactic fermentation, and a significant 39% is vinified in French oak barrels, adding extra depth, structure, and complexity. The 2011 vintage is known for its contrasts: a late flowering, a sunny summer, and a cool harvest. The result? A wine with both richness and freshness – exactly what one desires from a great vintage Champagne.

Tasting notes: Elegance and depth in perfect harmony
Color: Beautiful golden yellow with clear, shimmering hues and a fine, lively mousse.
Nose: A subtle and restrained bouquet that gradually opens with notes of ripe apples and pears. This is followed by floral and lightly honeyed tones that transition into fresh citrus and red currants.
Palate: A rich and concentrated expression with breadth and depth. The powerful Pinot Noir from Verzy shines through with body, spice, and a hint of ginger. The mineral and slightly smoky character reflects the wine’s origins and traditional methods, including oak aging. A herbal freshness gives the champagne an almost umami-like depth – ideal for gastronomy.

A Champagne house with royal heritage and uncompromising quality
Founded in 1776, Louis Roederer is one of the few remaining family-owned Champagne houses in France. Based in Reims, Roederer has cultivated its own vineyards and produced champagne with an uncompromising approach to quality and finesse for over 240 years. While the house is especially renowned for its iconic Cristal, their vintage champagnes – such as this 2011 – stand as a testament to their craftsmanship and profound respect for terroir.
