This organic single malt is matured in casks made from Danish oak (Quercus robur danica). This rare oak variety adds depth, sweetness, and finesse to the whisky. The barley comes from fields just a few kilometers from the distillery, and the oak from 150–200-year-old forests on Fyn. The result is an elegant and characterful whisky with a distinctly Danish identity.

Tasting Notes

The aroma opens with soft notes of pear and apricot, followed by hints of roasted hazelnuts and a gentle sweetness from the oak. The palate is round and harmonious, with fine tannins from the Danish casks. The finish is long, warm, and delicate — an experience that lingers beautifully.
