Ørnberg Paulus 2024
White Wine from Sjællands Odde

Discover Denmark’s most ambitious white wine – Ørnberg Paulus 2024.
This exclusive wine is the flagship of Ørnberg Vin and a must for any wine lover seeking world-class Danish terroir. Paulus 2024 is made from 100% Solaris grapes, grown in the rugged, sun-drenched coastal climate of Sjællands Odde – one of Denmark’s most unique wine regions. The wine is spontaneously fermented in barrels, giving it exceptional character, depth, and elegance.
With an alcohol content of 14.0%, low residual sugar, and a pronounced acidity, Paulus 2024 presents itself as a dry, powerful, and harmonious wine that balances richness and freshness with great precision. The natural fermentation and barrel aging add complexity and aging potential, making it ideal for both innovative gastronomy and collectors with an eye for top-tier Danish wine.

Tasting Notes: A wine that seduces from the first glass
The nose opens with intense aromas of ripe pear, nettle, and citrus peel – fresh, green, yet full-bodied. On the palate, the wine offers a creamy and rich texture that envelops the tongue before a lively, crisp acidity takes over, providing structure and length. The finish is persistent, mineral, and elegant – an experience that lingers in both memory and heart.

Ørnberg Vin – A Danish winery with soul, history, and sustainability at its core
Ørnberg Vin was founded in 2007 by Niels Esbjerg and Anders Ørnberg – childhood friends with agronomy degrees and deep roots in Danish agriculture. Driven by a shared passion for specialized food production and a vision to create unique, organic wine on Danish soil, they planted their first 3,000 vines on Niels’ ancestral farm. Today, Ørnberg Vin spans approximately 20,000 vines across 6 hectares and is known for producing some of Denmark’s most ambitious and award-winning wines.
In 2024, Anders Ørnberg took over full operations together with his wife Helle and a dedicated team of staff and volunteers. The vision for the future is clear: Ørnberg Vin will return to its biodynamic roots, with a focus on biodiversity, sustainability, and living wine production. It’s not just about wine – it’s about creating joy and balance for people, animals, and plants in a harmonious ecosystem.
