A rum with three lives – double aged and rounded in PX casks

Planteray XO 20th Anniversary starts its journey in Barbados, where it matures in American white oak barrels in the tropical climate. Here, the first notes of vanilla, coconut and caramel develop – classic hallmarks of true Barbadian rum.
The rum is then shipped across the Atlantic to the South of France, where it continues to mature in Ferrand Cognac casks in the cool cellars of the house. This double aging adds depth, complexity and a silky smooth texture.

To crown it all, this special edition is aged a third time in elegant ex-Pedro Ximénez casks from Andalusia, Spain. These casks provide a seductive finish with notes of raisins, nuts and dark chocolate – a sweet, vinous finesse that makes this rum truly special.
