  • Harmonious and food-friendly – perfect with game, red meat, truffles and aged cheeses

  • Elegant and complex – classic Brunello character with modern finesse

  • Ready to enjoy now after 1 hour decanting – or cellar for 10-15 years

Tasting notes – a deep and complex Brunello

In the glass you’ll find an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The aroma opens with ripe cherries, blackberries and currants before developing into deeper layers of baked tomatoes, Mediterranean herbs, roasted almonds and subtle coffee notes.

On the tongue, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with elegant tannins and an acidity that gives the wine’s fruit a beautiful lifting structure. The finish is long, clean and mineral with a hint of black pepper and clove.

In short: A sophisticated Brunello with soul, depth and a clear terroir expression.

History of the winery – Rasne: pride, tradition and Tuscan craftsmanship

Rasne is a small, family-owned house in Montalcino, founded with the vision of creating wines that celebrate the ancient wine traditions of the area. The name Rasne refers to the Etruscans – the first winemakers in the region – and the connection between past and present is at the heart of the house’s philosophy. They work exclusively with Sangiovese from carefully selected parcels around Montalcino. Production is deliberately kept small so that each vintage can be made with maximum precision, manual labor and care. The large Slavonian barrels are chosen to preserve the purity of the Sangiovese and the bottle ageing allows the wine to collect before release.
