The best bottles show a rich, fleshy and generous character with great balance and length. The aftertaste is persistent and firm with an elegant dry finish.

1985 is considered a strong vintage, although it may not quite reach the legendary heights of 1970, 1977 or 1983 at Taylor’s. Still, this is a Vintage Port with great development potential and plenty of personality – perfect for the collector or for special occasions when only classic top-shelf Vintage Port will do.
