The blend is made up of rare and priceless lots that have been aged in oak barrels in Taylor’s cellars – in several cases dating back to before World War II.

This is not just an old Port. It’s a masterpiece of barrel aging, where time, wood and wine have worked together for decades to create a sublime balance of concentration, elegance and complexity.

Tasting notes

Color: Deep amber with golden, mahogany reflections – a clear sign of extreme age.

Aroma: Intense and layered with notes of roasted nuts, orange peel, dried apricots, figs, caramelized sugar and fine spices. Subtle oxidative notes add depth.

Flavor: Silky and concentrated with an almost creamy texture. Layer upon layer of walnuts, almonds, toffee, dark honey and candied citrus. The acidity is perfectly integrated and adds freshness to the enormous complexity.

Finish: Endlessly long, elegant and refined with persistent nut and spice notes.
