Thy Distillery PX & Oloroso Cask Single Malt Whisky 51.5% – 2025 Edition

Experience the new Thy PX & Oloroso Cask Single Malt Whisky – an organic Danish whisky full of depth, warmth, and character. This limited edition from Thy Distillery has matured for five years in both Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, creating an intense and full-bodied taste experience.

Only 1,415 bottles have been released at full cask strength of 51.5%, ensuring a genuine and unadulterated whisky experience.

The Taste of Thy
The whisky opens with aromas of dark raisins, figs, and candied oranges. The sweet PX sherry adds notes of caramel, chocolate, and ripe fruits, while the Oloroso cask contributes depth with hints of nuts, tobacco, and dried fruit.

On the palate, the flavor unfolds in layers of sweetness, warmth, and gentle smoke from beechwood-smoked malt. The texture is round and creamy, with a long, soft, and slightly salty finish – like a quiet breeze from the North Sea.

A Piece of Danish Whisky History
Thy Distillery is located at Gyrup Farm in the northwestern corner of Denmark – surrounded by the wild and beautiful landscape between the North Sea and the Limfjord. Here, the Gyrup family grows their own organic grains, which are malted, mashed, and distilled directly on the farm.

Everything happens in one place – from field to bottle. This makes Thy one of the world’s few single estate distilleries, where craftsmanship, nature, and passion come together.

Inspired by the wind, the sea, and the golden fields, Thy Whisky creates an honest and characterful spirit that tastes of Denmark – and of Thy.
