About Va Piano Vineyards

Va Piano Vineyards is located in Walla Walla and was founded in 2003 by Justin Wylie, who was born and raised in the area. With the vineyards literally in his backyard, he began making wine in his garage – a passion that quickly grew into a professional career.

Today, Va Piano works with a number of outstanding fields in Walla Walla. Particularly noteworthy is the house’s own Va Piano vineyard, planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Around 70% of the grapes are used in their own production, while the rest is sold to recognized producers in the area, including L’Ecole No 41. The house is known for precision, quality and a style that clearly reflects the character of Walla Walla.
