Woodward Canyon Artist Series #27 Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 Magnum is a majestic version of one of Washington State’s most respected Cabernet Sauvignon blends. This impressive 1.5 liter magnum bottle offers both collector potential and optimal aging – perfect for the serious wine cellar or the big dinner party.

The Artist Series was launched in 1992 with the ambition to showcase the finest Cabernet Sauvignon Washington can produce. The grapes for #27 come from some of the state’s most iconic and oldest vineyards: Champoux Vineyard, Woodward Canyon Estate Vineyard, Weinbau Vineyard and Sagemoor Vineyard. Many of the vines are around 30 years old, giving intensity, complexity and deep structure.

the 2018 vintage is composed of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 7% Petite Verdot and 3% Syrah. The wine is aged for 22 months in French oak barrels, adding elegance, spice and perfectly integrated structure. The result is a robust, refined and long-lasting Cabernet blend with impressive balance.

Each vintage is adorned with art from a selected artist from the Pacific Northwest. For #27, the featured artist is Jodie Stejer from Sandpoint, making this magnum a true collector’s item – both vinously and visually.

The magnum format allows for a slower and more harmonious maturation, further refining the wine’s structure and aging potential. Ideal with beef, game, grilled specialties or as a centerpiece for special occasions.
