This 14-year-old Barbados rum was distilled in 2007 at West Indies Rum Distillery, a historic establishment with over 130 years of history. It has been aged for 2 years in a tropical climate on bourbon casks, followed by 10 years in continental conditions on bourbon casks, before finishing with 2 years in Ferrand casks. The result is a complex and deep rum with exceptional intensity of flavor.

Tasting Experience
This rum is distilled using both Gregg pot still and column still, creating a well-balanced combination of power and finesse. Discover a rare and extraordinary rum experience with Caroni 1994 Paradise #8 – an exceptional, full-bodied Trinidad rum with an alcohol content of 58%. This unique rum is the first bottling from one of the 23 selected casks, which were considered the best by the Tasting Band during an exclusive tasting on April 12, 2019, out of the final 136 Caroni casks. Each cask was carefully decanted into 3 demijohns of 54 liters and stored at Caroni Paradise in Cognac, adding fantastic complexity and depth to this rum.

Cask #6130 comes from a special batch of Caroni that was migrated from Guyana in 2009 – a rare and historic note that makes this rum even more unique and valuable. It was distilled at the legendary Caroni Distillery in Trinidad, a distillery known for its powerful and distinctive rum, beloved by rum connoisseurs around the world.

But it doesn’t stop there. Caroni 1994 Paradise #8 is not just the result of traditional craftsmanship; it is also a work of art. PORTUGAL -This Madeira is produced from 80% Tinta Negra Mole and 20% Malmsey grapes grown in Madeira. It has been aged for 5 years in oak barrels. It is a semi-sweet Madeira with a nice amber yellow color with a golden tinge and bouquet of oak and raisins. It is a well-balanced and complex Madeira with a good and long aftertaste. This Madeira is suitable for desserts, rich chocolate cakes, petit fours or a cup of coffee.

In Plantation Rum´s signature double-ageing technique, this unique expression aged 13 years in Guyana, than shipped by sea to the south-west of France, where it matured another two years in French oak Ferrand casks.

This Guyana 2007 masterfully combines the exuberance of the unique Port Mourant double wooden-pot-still with the elegance of a copper column still, resulting in a heavy, deeply structured rum showcasing dark chocolate and earthy notes.

Bordering the Caribbean Sea Venezuela has a long heritage of producing rich and refined rums, traditionally aged in oak casks. This 2010 vintage is an elegant expression of its terrior with delicate note of candied fruits and spices.

For this limited edition he unveils Panama´s rum terroir by selecting the finest casks of this exceptional rum from the Alcoholes del Istmo Distillery.

This unique product was found in Las Cabras de Pesé, located in southwest Panama, in the Herrera region. In Plantation Rum´s signature double-ageing technique, the rum traveled by sea to the southwest of France where it was matured in French oak casks.

The intense flavours of this Panama 2008 pay homage to the Island´s southern terroir. Its tropical weather offering the perfect conditions for sugarcane cultivation.

It had to be, because nobody was going to hand it out to sailors without first tuning it into punch, or at least cutting it with water, and the rum had to be able to stand up to that. Plantation O.F.T.D is our take on that classic style. And not just ours; to join him on the quest ti get the blend and the proof just right, our award winning Cellar Master, Alexandre Gabriel, sourced rums-joints around the world to find six grizzled old salts who knew which end of a rum-bottle was which. Together they came up with this blend of Guyana, Jamaica and Barbados rums, bottled at (just to be on the safe side) a full 20 degrees overproof, according to the way they used to measure these tings in the Royal Navy.
